The Dominion Heavy Bomber is the Colonial Fleet Air Arm’s latest, devastating aircraft. Developed in response to the rising deployment of enemy behemoths, this dread angel bristles with weaponry.
Primarily, it’s cavernous bomb bays hold two Titanbane gravity munitions. These are dropped at low altitude, then just before impact the bomb’s tail explodes, driving its tungsten-tipped warhead deep inside a big target’s guts before a larger charge detonates, ripping the victim apart from within.
Additionally, four heavy calibre autocannons on its sleek nose can chew through armoured columns with ease. Next, a Saturation Missile Array can shred lighter targets spread over a wide area with airburst munitions, so cover offers no protection.
Lastly, and in a throwback to bombers of an earlier age, a tailgun guards against roving fighters and offers a sting in the tail to bring down aircraft in the wake of the Dominion’s passing.
