When a Necromancer dies (for good) their remains may be interred in a Mortis Engine, allowing other Necromancers to continue taking advantage of their dreadful power, as banshees and other howling spirits swirl around it in a vortex of death.
For some vampires, the lust for blood is more than a necessity, it's an obsession. Attended by a senior vampire directing the palanquin's bound spirits in an orchestra of screams and death, while energising other nearby vampires with the power of the onboard blood cauldron.
